I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
